The workflow uses a named flat shipping option, a pickup address you enter once and a fulfillment linked to tracking. For a maker or small studio, the most useful setup is one that fits around production and packing time.

Give the studio a clear collection setup
After connecting the site, enter the pickup address in RentADriver because this connection does not supply it from Squarespace. Configure the covered area, preparation time, cut-off and maximum package size. Add a flat shipping option named ‘Same-day by RentADriver’ in your store so eligible local purchases can be identified.
- Use the actual collection entrance and a reachable pickup contact.
- Allow time for protective packaging, wrapping or final assembly.
- Review the flat customer fee and fund the delivery wallet.

Work from pending, eligible orders
The connector reviews pending-fulfillment orders and checks payment and current order state before booking. Already fulfilled or cancelled orders need a different resolution. Confirm the shipping items, recipient and packed dimensions, then use the configured booking flow to arrange collection for the order that is actually ready.

Connect the handover to fulfillment
At pickup, a fulfillment with the RentADriver tracking link connects the delivery back to the Squarespace purchase. Your team can use that link to follow the journey and answer progress questions. Review the delivery record when something changes, so customer communication reflects the handover rather than just the storefront's order status.

Will the checkout price be a live quote?
No. This integration uses a flat shipping option that you configure in Squarespace. The customer fee and the actual delivery charge are separate, so consider distance and your margin when setting the price.
Why do I enter my pickup address again?
The Squarespace connection supplies order information but does not share your store's collection address. Entering it once gives the delivery flow a defined starting point.
Does this work for every handmade product?
Delivery suitability depends on the item, packaging, dimensions and handling needs. Check the goods you intend to send before advertising a local delivery promise.
