Same day to the next city.
A driver collects in your city within the hour and drives straight to a neighbouring one: Leeds to Sheffield, Luton to Milton Keynes, San Francisco to San Jose. Delivered this afternoon, tracked the whole way, with proof on handover.
- 43cities with same-day neighbours
- dedicated driver · no depots, no transfers
- 160 km · by road: neighbouring cities only
- by 21:00 · collected within the hour, delivered the same day
Quote, collect, drive, prove
- 01Quote in one call
Send a pickup in your city and a drop-off in a neighbouring one. The quote comes back as same-day city to city, with the price, the distance and the arrival time.
- 02Collected within the hour
A driver on shift near the pickup accepts it like any local job and collects within about an hour.
- 03Straight there
One driver, no depot and no transfer. You and the recipient follow the car live until it arrives.
- 04Proof on handover
Photo, signature or a one-time code at the door. Book before the evening cut-off and it lands the same day.
Short enough to be same day. Honest past that.
Up to 160 km by road is about two hours of driving, so a booking made in the morning or early afternoon arrives the same day.
The same rate card as a delivery across your city, plus an allowance for the driver's drive back. No rush premium and no surge.
Further than 160 km, a parcel network is cheaper and fast enough. We would rather tell you that than sell you a long drive.
Where you can send the same day
Sample prices are for a size M parcel by car, city centre to city centre. Your quote prices the exact addresses on the origin city's rate card.
Same day to the next city, one pair of hands
An overnight network is cheaper for routine parcels and for anything further than 160 km. Send with us when it has to reach a neighbouring city today or should not pass through a depot.

What a city-to-city price is made of
Everything is in the breakdown of every quote, so an agent can explain the number before booking.
PricingBase fare, per kilometre and per minute on the real road route, from the rate card of the city you send from. Past the first 20 km, the open road costs a reduced share of it.
Half the one-way distance and driving time, because the driver has to get back. It is shown as its own line.
The same size and vehicle multipliers as a local delivery. Large and XL items go in a van.
One service, same day: no speed tiers, no surge, no peak factor and no tolls line.
Held at booking, settled on proof
- 01Held at booking
The price is held from your wallet when you book, exactly like a local delivery.
- 02No extras on the way
The price you saw is the price you pay; nothing is added during the trip.
- 03Settled on confirm
Settlement completes when you confirm the proof, or automatically 24 hours after delivery.
- 04Cancellation
Free until a driver is assigned. After assignment and before pickup, 20 % of the price is charged. No cancellation after pickup.
Things that can't wait for tomorrow's parcel run
A sealed case to a lab or hospital in the next city, with proof at both ends, the same day.
Signed contracts, deeds and passports to a solicitor or court in a neighbouring city, signed for on handover.
A part from the depot to an engineer on site in the next town before the end of the shift.
The last sizes or a display from one branch to another before the weekend.
Car keys, fleet paperwork and office keys, tracked door to door.
An order from a local shop to a customer's family one town over, delivered this afternoon.
Nothing new to integrate
City to city uses the same quote, delivery, tracking, webhook and proof endpoints. Set service to auto and anything that already books local deliveries can send to a neighbouring city today.

Which cities can I send to?
Any of our cities in the same country within 160 km by road of the pickup city. In the UK most launch cities have several neighbours; in the US, pairs such as San Francisco and San Jose or Sacramento and Stockton. The table above lists them all.
Why not further?
Past 160 km a delivery stops being a same-day errand and a parcel network is the cheaper choice. We decline those quotes rather than price a long drive.
How fast is it?
A driver collects within about an hour and drives straight there. The delivery has to arrive by 21:00 local time; a booking too late for that is collected the next morning.
Is it one driver the whole way?
Yes. The driver who collects is the driver who hands over; nothing goes through a depot.
Can I send several parcels?
Up to three drop-offs on one city-to-city delivery, each with its own proof.
Can my agent book this?
Yes. get_intercity_quote, or get_quote with service auto, then create_delivery with the quote_id. The response carries the pickup and arrival times.
