Quotes use planned road routes, distance and journey time. Traffic-aware routing is used where available, with planned-route or estimated fallback when it is unavailable. Timing, package handling, vehicle choice and demand can also affect the price.

Which vehicle should I choose for my packages?
The quote checks every package and selects a vehicle that meets the combined load requirements. If your requested scooter is too small, the quote upgrades it and explains why. Review the returned vehicle and price before booking.

Standard delivery supports up to 20 kg per package, 200 kg combined and 100 packages, subject to the selected vehicle’s smaller limits. A scooter supports at most 20 kg combined and 15 kg per package. Five 20 kg packages require at least a car; bulky boxes may require a van.

Enter length, width and height in centimetres for one package, and use quantity for the number of identical packages. Provide all three dimensions together or leave all three blank. Partial measurements are rejected with the package number and missing fields.

The complete load is outside the supported weight, dimensions, volume or package-count limits. The website and API reject it rather than booking a driver who cannot carry it. Changing the requested vehicle only helps if a larger supported vehicle meets every limit.

How is courier API pricing calculated?
Per delivery, with no monthly fee. A quote starts from a base amount, adds distance and time on the real road route and any extra stops, then applies multipliers for parcel size, vehicle and urgency. Busy hours and live traffic can raise it, quieter slots can lower it, and every quote returns the full breakdown. GET /v1/pricing publishes each city's rate card with worked examples.

A RentADriver same-day delivery in London is priced per route: a base fee plus distance and time, multiplied by parcel size, vehicle and urgency, with an £11.50 minimum. The table below shows the current rate-card price for a medium parcel by car at 2, 5, 10 and 20 km. ASAP bookings cost more than same-day timing, and scheduled bookings less. Yes. Use separate country workspaces under the same account. The pickup country determines the delivery market and currency, and each workspace has its own balance. Drivers operate in their local market; balances are not automatically converted between currencies.

Fund the RentADriver wallet with USDC on Base through the x402 protocol: the deposit endpoint answers HTTP 402 with payment requirements, the agent signs the payment and retries, and the wallet is credited on settlement. Card deposits via Stripe Checkout are available when a human can pay.

Booking a funded delivery holds the quoted amount in its country wallet. Settlement follows confirmation; eligible cancellations or an unsuccessful search release the hold according to the delivery’s state and applicable fees. The wallet ledger shows each movement.

What is a same-day delivery API, and how do you integrate one?
A same-day delivery API lets your app, online store or AI agent book a local courier in code: send a pickup and a drop-off to get a price and ETA, create the delivery, follow the driver through webhooks or live events, and read proof of delivery when it lands. The delivery searches for an eligible driver until its search window or an earlier applicable deadline ends. If no driver is found, review availability and the pickup window before retrying. Use a new quote or a similar delivery when the route, load or timing needs to change.

create_return books the reverse leg of a completed delivery: the driver collects from the last drop-off and brings the item back to the original pickup, with proof at both ends.

Yes. Quotes and delivery creation validate package loads on the server. Stored quotes are checked again before booking, and saved deliveries are checked before funding or restarting a search. Invalid dimensions or unsupported loads return an error instead of a new booking or wallet hold.
