How does an AI agent get proof that a delivery happened?

Short answer. Every drop-off declares proof_required (photo, signature, recipient name or OTP). The driver app cannot complete the stop without it, and GET /v1/deliveries/{id}/proof returns signed photo URLs, the signature, the recipient's name, the coordinates and the timestamp.

Best for
  • ✓ Contracts and legal documents
  • ✓ High-value items with an OTP handoff
  • ✓ Audit trails for automated fulfilment
Limits and responsibilities
  • • Proof links expire; fetch fresh links when needed
  • • OTP requires you to give the recipient the code out of band
  • • Recipient ID-check proof is not currently supported

How it works

  1. 01Set proof_required on the drop-off when creating
  2. 02For OTP, pass metadata.otp and tell the recipient
  3. 03After delivered, call get_proof_of_delivery
