What is a delivery MCP server, and how do I add one to my agent?

Short answer. A delivery MCP server exposes real-world delivery as tools an AI agent can call. RentADriver's remote MCP server has 43 tools: quote a route without a key, book a driver from a funded wallet, track the driver live and read proof of delivery. Add it to Claude Code with "claude mcp add --transport http rentadriver https://mcp.rentadriver.ai/mcp" (sign in with OAuth when asked), or run "npx -y rentadriver-mcp" locally with an API key.

Best for
  • ✓ Agents in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client
  • ✓ Assistants that need to send, collect or return physical items
  • ✓ Prototyping delivery flows without writing an integration
Limits and responsibilities
  • • Booking needs a verified account and a funded country wallet
  • • Coverage is limited to launch cities; check_coverage tells the agent first
  • • Keep spending caps on keys an agent can use

How it works

  1. 01Add the server to your MCP client (remote URL or npx)
  2. 02Ask the agent for a quote: get_quote needs no key
  3. 03Approve the booking: create_delivery holds the price from the wallet
  4. 04Let the agent follow track_delivery and read get_proof_of_delivery
