Do I need an account to get a price?
No. POST /v1/quotes and the MCP get_quote tool work without a key. You need a verified account and a funded wallet to book.
Is there a sandbox?
Yes. A test key books against simulated drivers that walk each delivery through pickup, drop-off and proof, with no money moving.
How is the price calculated?
Base fee plus distance and time, multiplied by parcel size, vehicle and urgency, with a minimum per city. Every city's rate card is published on the pricing page.
Can an AI agent use it?
Yes. The remote MCP server at https://mcp.rentadriver.ai/mcp exposes 43 tools with OAuth sign-in, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients can quote and book without custom code.
Where does it work?
