MAKE IT LOCAL
Choose the Shopify locations that dispatch orders, then set collection instructions, a delivery area and preparation time for each one.
A reason to choose local

A customer finds the right outfit on your Shopify store on the morning of an event. They want to buy from your brand, but ordinary shipping misses the occasion. A local delivery option gives that order a practical next step: your team prepares the parcel, a driver collects it from the assigned shop, and the customer follows its journey.
The opportunity is more than a faster parcel. It is keeping an urgent purchase with your own store, while your team continues serving the people already at the counter.
Built around the way you sell

Sync Shopify pickup locations and configure collection instructions and local areas. Shopify's fulfillment assignment determines the pickup; split-location orders need consolidation.
The integration links a delivery to its Shopify order, adds tracking at pickup and synchronizes supported fulfillment updates. Review sync issues in the merchant app.
From order to handover
Think of the Shopify app as the collection desk for your online orders. Settings define where you can send an order; the order workspace helps your team review what is ready; delivery details connect that decision to the journey. A good setup gives the person packing the parcel the same information as the person answering the customer's question.
Sync your Shopify locations, enable the pickups you use and give each one its own collection instructions. Choose a radius or postal area, preparation time and cut-off that reflect that location's working day. Live checkout rates use Shopify's checkout origin and require third-party calculated shipping on your account.
Open an eligible paid order and check its recipient, items and assigned pickup. Shopify's fulfillment allocation determines the collection location. The app supports manual review alongside configured automatic booking for matching shipping selections, so you can choose the routine that suits your order volume.
The tracking link is added to the fulfillment at pickup, with supported delivery updates synchronized back to Shopify. In delivery details, your team can inspect the journey and the synchronization state. A pending or failed Shopify update is a follow-up task, not a reason to create another delivery.
The fee your Shopify customer sees can follow your configured customer-pricing rules. The delivery charge is a separate business cost. Compare the quote with the basket margin, particularly when offering a flat fee or free delivery above a threshold.

Bring your store details and a clear idea of the area you want to serve. Start small, review the full order journey and expand when your collection routine is working well.
Same-day delivery depends on service coverage, order eligibility, preparation time and driver availability. A quote is an estimate; review the terms and delivery details before booking.
Install from the Shopify App Store. Shopify shows the permissions once; the app then creates your RentADriver account, finds your store location and switches on the checkout rate.
Shopify collects your store and shows the permissions, then opens the app in your admin.

Recheck Shopify's current fulfillment assignment before booking. A change of pickup can change the delivery area, preparation requirements and quote; do not assume the original preview still applies.
Review its delivery state and wallet balance, then resolve the reported issue. Automatic booking still needs an eligible order and funding; a checkout selection alone does not mean a driver has accepted.
Open the linked delivery before arranging a replacement or cancellation. If collection has progressed or the handover needs help, contact support with the order and delivery references.
Merchant questions
Yes. Sync and enable the locations that dispatch orders, then configure their delivery rules. Each booked order currently uses one pickup; consolidate split-location orders before booking.
Live rates require third-party calculated shipping to be enabled on your account. Check your current Shopify eligibility. Manual order booking is a separate workflow and does not require a live checkout rate.
Customer shipping pricing can use configured rules such as a flat fee or free delivery above a basket threshold. Your actual delivery cost remains separate, so review the economics before advertising an offer.
